Start with truth
Research/Discovery
Digging into user research, analytics, and conversations to figure out what's really going on, not just what people say the problem is. I pay close attention to what users actually do, because those two things rarely match up. The patterns in how people behave tell the real story.
Design is a conversation
Collaboration/Iteration
Bring in teammates and users from the start. Collaborating early helps us avoid expensive mistakes and ensures what I'm designing can actually be built and maintained. I use quick prototypes and working sessions to test feasibility before polishing anything.
Iteration beats perfection
Testing/Refinement
I ship things, see how they perform, then make them better. I look at both the hard numbers usage stats, A/B tests, accessibility checks, and the actual feedback from users to figure out what's working and what needs another pass.
I'm a product designer with over 6 years of experience making the complex feel simple and creating solutions people genuinely love to use. I work where business goals meet real user needs, designing products that go beyond good looks to actually solve problems and make people's jobs easier.
When I'm not designing, you'll find me out with my wife walking our dog Honey, exploring the great out doors, hunting down the perfect coffee spots, or getting overly competitive over a board game.
Always up for new opportunities, design challenges, and meaningful collaborations, especially over coffee.
